Who this policy covers

This policy applies to middlesexroofingexperts.com and to information submitted through it. It does not cover any third-party website this site links to.

Information you give us

When you submit the contact or estimate form, we collect the details you enter: your name, phone number, and where you provide them, your email address, property address, city, ZIP code, the roofing service you selected, your preferred contact method, and whatever you write in the message field.

We use those details to respond to your roofing request and, if the work goes ahead, to carry it out. We do not sell them, and we do not add you to unrelated marketing lists as a condition of making the request.

Information collected automatically

This site uses a first-party analytics and lead-attribution service operated by Roof Leads Center. It records which pages are viewed, which calls-to-action and telephone links are clicked, and when a form is started and submitted.

To connect those events across a visit, it stores a randomly generated visitor identifier and a session identifier in your browser's local storage. It also records campaign parameters present in the address you arrived on — such as utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and advertising click identifiers like gclid — together with the page you landed on and the referring website.

It does not use third-party cookies or cross-site identifiers, and it does not attempt browser fingerprinting. Tracking events do not carry your name, email address, phone number or the text of your message.

How a form submission is handled

Form submissions are sent to this website's own server, validated there, and then forwarded to Roof Leads Center, which acts as the customer relationship management system for this business. The lead record includes the details you entered along with the page you submitted from and the campaign attribution described above, so that enquiries can be answered and their source understood.

Your browser never communicates directly with the customer management system, and the credentials used for that transfer are held only on the server.

Spam protection

The contact form includes a hidden field that ordinary visitors never see and a check on how quickly the form was completed, both of which are used to identify automated submissions. Where Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, a verification token is generated in your browser and checked on our server; Cloudflare processes that check under its own privacy terms.

We also apply a rate limit based on the network address the request arrives from. That address is used for the limit itself and is not stored with your enquiry.

Third-party analytics

Where Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager is configured for this site, those services collect usage information under Google's own privacy terms. Personal details you enter into the form are not passed to them.

Data retention

Enquiries are retained in the customer management system for as long as needed to respond to them and to keep a record of work carried out. Analytics events are retained according to that platform's configuration.

Your choices

You can decline to submit the form and contact us by phone or email instead. You can clear your browser's local storage at any time, which removes the visitor and session identifiers described above. Most browsers also allow you to block scripts from specific domains.
